Real Restoration, Not Artificial Intelligence
Every photograph we restore is repaired by hand by Merv Spencer using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom — not an AI filter. Merv studies each image closely, working piece by piece to repair tears, rebuild missing sections and correct fading, often using other prints you provide of the same person or occasion as a reference. It takes skill, patience and time — and it shows in the result.
Painstakingly Hand-Restored
No shortcuts, no AI guesswork — every detail is worked on by an experienced professional.

Types of Photo Restoration We Offer
Torn & Damaged Photos
Rips, tears and missing corners are carefully rebuilt piece by piece in Photoshop, so the join disappears and the memory is whole again.
Faded & Discoloured Photos
Old colour photographs often fade or turn orange/yellow with age. We correct colour balance and restore natural, lifelike tones.
Black & White Colourisation
Careful, research-based hand colourisation brings black and white photographs to life with natural, believable colour.
Water & Damp Damaged Photos
Staining, warping, foxing and smudged detail from water or damp exposure is painstakingly repaired and rebuilt by hand.
Missing or Damaged Sections
Where part of a photograph is missing entirely, we can often reconstruct it using other prints you provide of the same person, scene or occasion.
Wedding & Family Portraits
Treasured wedding albums and family portraits are restored with extra care, preserving the detail and character of the original.
Areas We Cover
Based in Belper, we are proud to serve customers throughout Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire — and by post or upload, the whole of the UK.
