Photo Restoration in Ilkeston

Ilkeston is one of the closest towns to our Belper studio, and home to many of our long-standing customers. We're proud to be a trusted, local choice for photo restoration in the area.

Local, Trusted Restoration

Many Ilkeston families have brought us photographs going back generations — from wedding albums to old family portraits.

Every photograph is restored entirely by hand by Merv Spencer using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom — never AI — so results look genuine, not artificial.

Ilkeston customers are welcome to drop photographs off in person by appointment, or send them online.

Yes. Photo Restoration Services, run by Merv Spencer Photography in nearby Belper, regularly restores photographs for customers in and around Ilkeston. You can upload your photo online or post the original print to our studio.

How much does it cost? +

Restoration starts from £20 for Category A (faded photos restored in colour, black & white or sepia), from £25 for Category B (photos needing additional work such as small creases), and Category C (photos that are not fully intact or need extensive restoration artwork) is priced on application. See our full Prices page for prints and digital files too.

Is it done using AI? +

No. Every restoration is carried out by hand by Merv Spencer using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
