Our Services
Types of Photo Restoration We Offer
From a single torn corner to a badly faded family portrait, every type of damage is restored by hand by Merv Spencer — never by AI. Choose a service below to see real examples, or simply upload your photo and we’ll assess it for free.

Torn & Damaged Photos
Rips, tears and missing corners are carefully rebuilt piece by piece in Photoshop, so the join disappears and the memory is whole again.

Faded & Discoloured Photos
Old colour photographs often fade or turn orange/yellow with age. We correct colour balance and restore natural, lifelike tones.

Black & White Colourisation
Careful, research-based hand colourisation brings black and white photographs to life with natural, believable colour.

Water & Damp Damaged Photos
Staining, warping, foxing and smudged detail from water or damp exposure is painstakingly repaired and rebuilt by hand.

Missing or Damaged Sections
Where part of a photograph is missing entirely, we can often reconstruct it using other prints you provide of the same person, scene or occasion.

Wedding & Family Portraits
Treasured wedding albums and family portraits are restored with extra care, preserving the detail and character of the original.

Military & Historic Photographs
Service photos, medals and historic family images are restored with respect for their age and significance.

Photo, Slide & Negative Scanning
We scan prints, 35mm slides and negatives at high resolution ready for restoration, digital archiving or printing.

Photo Album Scanning
Whole albums can be scanned and digitised, preserving every photograph as a high-resolution digital file.

Images to DVD Slideshow
Your restored and scanned photographs can be compiled into a slideshow on DVD to share with family.

Scanning to Enlargements
Old small prints can be scanned, restored and enlarged to a larger, frameable print size.
How We Restore Your Photograph
Every restoration is completed personally by Merv Spencer using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. There is no AI involved — each photograph is studied closely and repaired by hand, often referencing other prints you provide of the same person or scene to accurately rebuild missing or damaged detail. It is a slow, careful process, and that is exactly why the results look genuine.
